NOTE: Michael unexpectedly had to return to Mission Hospital in Asheville, Tuesday, August 6. We have no release date, as of yet. Audio portions of the daily messages will resume when he returns to The Quiet Place. We ask for your continued prayers during this time.
Do not hurry through your life. Do not hurry through your day. Stop. Slow-down. Do not hurry when you pray. Do not rush through prayer, as if it were an exercise you must do, and then quickly move on. Tarry there. Sit with Me. Do not hurry through any task of the day. Do not hurry through the preparation of lunch or dinner. Slow-down. Take time to bless the food, to bless those who grew the food, who harvested the food, who made sure that you had food to purchase at various stores, and stands, or from the local farmer, or perhaps, possibly, from your own hands. Today do not rush from this point to that point. Slow-down. Take time to look and see the beauty all around. Take time to come and sit with Me.
And The Holy Spirit says:
If you will notice, when you feel as if you are pressured, have too much to do, you move from thing to thing, as quickly as you can. All the while, you are building-up stress within, your heart is pounding, you are not calm, your head is down, and you are pushing forward. You can do everything, which needs to be done, without the harried race, without the pinched, determined face, without the pounding heart, without stress. All you have to do is to slow-down, and know you will accomplish that which needs to be done. Change your pace, slow-down, take the time to look around and see the beauty that surrounds thee.
