Be joyful, and the spirit of joy is held within gratitude and thanksgiving. For, when you have gratitude, upon your heart, for that which you have been given, for that which has come to you, there is a sense of joy, within you, that is different. It is complete, it is true, because the seed of it was born within gratitude and thanksgiving. When you are thankful for what you have, this occupies your thoughts, frequently. And you are less likely to set your thoughts wandering to wanting this, or desiring that, because your joy is so complete, in the gratitude, in the thanksgiving. Be joyful. Be thankful.
And The Holy Spirit says:
Set aside some days to dwell within gratitude, to dwell with thanksgiving. It is well worth the time, you set aside, to be still, to be quiet, to ponder gratitude, to remember those to which you are thankful. It is within this quiet time, spent with gratitude and thanksgiving, that the seed of joy will blossom, and grow, within you.
