Practice patience, today; and begin, by holding your tongue, when you are tempted to react to words, you consider to be, hurtful, hateful, or annoying. It will be difficult, at first, to resist the temptation to retaliate, but do so anyway. Retaliatory remarks will not curb anger, but will be, as fuel to the fire. No disagreement is ever settled in the argument. Words, spoken into a whirlwind, will never be heard, as you intend them to be heard. They will be misconnected, misconstrued, and misinterpreted, echoing from within the tempest. Be patient. Let the storm recede, and pass. Many relationships have been saved by the unspoken word. There will come a time, and there will be a place, when the words, you wish to speak, flow from you, riding on the grace of God; and the words spoken, will be as a hand of peace, settling all issues with The Miracle of Love.
And The Holy Spirit says:
Patience is a gift of peace. It takes wisdom to see the value of patience, but for those, who practice patience, there is peace within.
