The Journey to an Epiphany

Yesterday I was wanting to hold onto our journey through Advent into Epiphany.  This morning, in prayer, the message I received was not to cling to the past but be willing to embrace the new.  It reminded me of the story of the old wineskin and the new wine.  So, today, my mind has been changed, knowing we are to bring the lessons learned in the past with us, into the present, compiled as our individual books of wisdom, from which to grow.  Every day we receive wisdom from The Holy Spirit, within.  We receive messages in dreams, and visions.  The Teacher is within each of us, but most often ignored for the current ways of the world.  How many times do we read in the accounts of the events, leading up to the birth, the birth, and beyond, that The Heavenly Dimension has intervened?  These dreams, visions, visitations, signs, and wonders are with us today.  They did not stop, leaving us wandering alone in the world.  A Divine Compass is within us to guide us so we too might know The Way.  Rather than clinging to our Advent and Epiphany practice, it is now my intention to learn from the lessons we experienced together, to bring them forward into my everyday world, and let them be the wisdom which guides me.  What about you?
